word of the day

[dif-i-kuhlt, -kuhlt]
not easily or readily done; requiring much labor, skill, or  planning to be performed successfully; hard: a difficult time making dinner, checking email, folding laundry and doing bills before husband gets home
hard to understand or solve: a difficult math problem your 1st grader wants you to help with
hard to deal with or get on with: a difficult child who has not napped and is ready for bed

  1. So why is it we feel so much pressure to have things done before the husband gets home? I hate that. I work from home and am stuck at the computer all day waiting for phone calls but the 2 hours before the hubby gets home I feel like I have to rush around the house to make it look like I did something today. Must be genetically woven into our DNA from the 50's when woman actually did all that stuff with an A line dress and heels, makeup and hair done and dinner on the table at 5pm kids washed and ready for bed at 7p. Ugh!!!!!!
