1 Reason I'm glad he's gone.

As you all know, my husband is out of town. In Germany. For a week. Then he leaves for 4 days. I'm not going to get all sappy and sad. To prevent this from happening I like to think of things that he does that drive me crazy. Here is one:

Every Monday this is what I see. The gas light on. Big Daddy, you mean to tell me that you didn't see this ALL WEEKEND?? YOU were the one driving! I ask him "do we need gas?"
He says "no" which DIRECTLY translates to: the light is on, but the reserve has 30 miles so we're fine. We've never run out of gas so technically he isn't doing anything wrong.
Look honey, I love you, but I HATE starting my week with an empty tank.

*sigh*

  1. He he! My husband travels a lot for work too, and unfortunately, after the first night where I stretch out and relax and just enjoy the solitude once the kids are in bed, I do end up missing him terribly!

Maybe I should remind myself of all the annoying things he does... hehe!

  3. I have to admit, I'M the culprit of the gas tank! And on your Hubby's behalf, no, I don't pay attention to the stupid needle either... hmmm, I need to powder my nose and stick a post it on it that reads... Get gas!!! Cups Up! xoxo

  4. Yes, yes, yes. Why do they do this? My husband does exactly the same thing.

The only revenge I've ever had with this is that on two occasions, his car has run out of gas on the way home from work. And that has been his problem to deal with, not mine! LOL!

  6. My husband purposely leaves me running on fumes so that I ROLL into the gas station. He says it makes my otherwise dull life exciting. What a dickweed. Although come to think of it? With him pulling this sort of shit with me all the time? I'm not often bored.
